Ryder Azadi was the Governor of Lothal before being overthrown by Arihnda Pryce. He supported the Bridgers, Mira and Ephraim in their broadcast campaign against the empire and knew Ezra Bridger as a child. He was arrested with the Bridgers and sent to prison until he escaped but at the cost of Mira and Ephraim. Ryder finally reunited with Ezra and sadly told him of his parents' fates. He later joined the fight against the Empire after facing off the imperial forces and began leading the Lothal Resistance.
