The Jedi Order , later referred to as just Jedi, was a group of characters in the Star Wars franchise. They were the keepers of the peace and sworn to protect the Galaxy while also using the light side of the Force.The Jedi fought in the Clone Wars, where Masters and Knights were generals and Padawans were commanders.
