The Imperial Royal Guard, also known as the Emperor's Royal Guards and the Red Guards were a squadron of guards hired by Sheev Palpatine during his reign as the Supreme Chancellor of the galactic Republic and the Emperor of the Galactic Empire. They mostly wore red armor and carried an electro-staff.
