The Skywalker Family are the main protagonists of the main storyline of the Star Wars franchise. They were a family of slaves (Shmi and Anakin), and later, Jedi (Anakin Skywalker and his son, Luke), freedom fighters (like Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker and politicians (Padme and Leia).
